Prepare to be blown away by this epic collaboration! A Night of Musical Magic in Amsterdam.
Former ARCH ENEMY powerhouse, Alissa White-Gluz, joined forces with the talented ladies of EPICA, Simone Simons, Elize Ryd, and Charlotte Wessels, for an unforgettable performance. But here's the twist: this wasn't just any ordinary collaboration; it was a reunion of sorts, bringing together artists who share a unique bond and a passion for music that transcends time.
On February 7th, at the Ziggo Dome in Amsterdam, these incredible vocalists took the stage to perform EPICA's iconic song, 'Sirens - Of Blood And Water'. The energy in the room was electric as Alissa, Elize, and Charlotte harmonized beautifully, creating a moment that will forever be etched in the memories of the 8000 fans in attendance.
But the surprises didn't end there. Alissa returned later in the show to perform another EPICA track, 'Beyond The Matrix', solidifying her presence and leaving a lasting impression on everyone lucky enough to witness this special event.
Check out the fan-captured footage below and experience the magic for yourself!
Alissa shared a heartfelt message along with a video snippet from the concert, expressing her gratitude and emotions. She wrote, 'After an incredible month in LA, I made a surprise visit to the Netherlands to join my friends in EPICA on stage. It's crazy to think that even though EPICA was one of my first touring experiences, starting almost two decades ago, this was our first time performing together!'
She continued, 'The emotions that night were intense. Seeing the beautiful faces of Elize, Simone, and Charlotte while we sang 'Sirens' together is a memory I'll cherish forever. These women are not only incredibly talented artists but also dear friends whom I deeply respect and love. I'm a genuine fan of each of them!'
And this is the part most people miss: Alissa revealed a secret! She slipped on ice while traveling from LA to Amsterdam, breaking her ribs the night before the show. Talk about dedication! She performed with broken ribs, proving that nothing can stop a true artist from delivering an unforgettable performance.
But wait, there's more! Last November, Alissa released her first solo single, 'The Room Where She Died', giving us a glimpse into her upcoming solo album. The music was composed by KAMELOT's Oliver Palotai, and Alissa took charge, performing, recording, and writing all the vocals. She even wrote the script for the music video, which was brought to life by the talented team at iCODE.
In a surprising turn of events, ARCH ENEMY announced their split with Alissa in November 2025. The band expressed their gratitude for the time and music they shared, while Alissa bid farewell to her ARCH ENEMY journey, promising big surprises and news in 2026.
Alissa's musical journey has been nothing short of remarkable. She joined ARCH ENEMY in 2014, replacing Angela Gossow, who stepped down to focus on management. Alissa released four studio albums with ARCH ENEMY, each one a testament to her powerful vocals and artistic growth.
Throughout her career, Alissa has used her platform to advocate for social change, addressing important issues like environmental conservation, veganism, and animal ethics. Her music is a force for good, inspiring and empowering her fans.
ARCH ENEMY's final show with Alissa was on November 15, 2025, in Düsseldorf, Germany, as part of their European tour. It was a bittersweet moment, marking the end of an era but also celebrating the incredible music and memories they created together.
